There are so many ways to learn how to speak Spanish these days; it's just a matter of choosing which way is right for you.

Spanish is the most common first language in all of the Americas. It's spoken in much of the United States, (California alone has well over 5 million people who speak Spanish in their homes). Then there's Africa, the Philippines, and we must not forget Spain. So if you are thinking of beginning to speak Spanish, you won't have far to go for practice.

Spanish and English are more or less equal in the race to become the second most useful and spoken language around the globe. Spanish is becoming more significant as trade and commerce in the Latin American countries' economy gets better. So perhaps that is why so many people are learning to speak Spanish.

Evening classes are a traditional way to learn to speak Spanish. You need to decide if you have the time to attend classes regularly. Also, if you will have the energy after a hard day on the job to take in a couple of hours of language education.
